Double the action at Twin Creeks in Turramurra/Warrawee. Urban bushland with some off-track navigation action for the advanced.

Event Date: Saturday 5 September 2020
Start window: 9:00am to 12:30pm (9-10 for northside, 11:00-11:30 for Hills, 12:00-12:30 for southside – see below)

Meeting point: Meet by the playground at the head of Twin Creeks Reserve Track, 16 Mitchell Crescent, Warrawee
Courses: The usual Warm Up, Score, Short Line and Long Line SOS courses will be available. Note that off-track orienteering is allowed at this venue. The Long Line course will include more off-track controls than the Short Line course, it also includes more steep and rough terrain with approximately 150m of vertical climb across the course. We recommend full leg cover for all participants.
Course Closure: 1:30pm
Toilets: Note that the closest public toilets are at Howson Oval which is a 650m walk.
Entry Limitations: NSW Health recently issued new COVID-19 guidelines for community sport. As a result entries for SOS events are now limited by each participant’s residential address.
Entries will be accepted for this event from households that are residents of the listed Sydney regions as follows:
9am to 10am – Sydney’s northern suburbs (within the region shown for Bennelong Northside Orienteers, Big Foot Orienteers and Garingal Orienteers on the Orienteering NSW Sydney region map).
11:00am to 11:30am – Sydney’s Hills and western region (within the region for the Western and Hills Orienteers on the Orienteering NSW Sydney region map).
12:00pm to 12:30pm – Sydney’s southern suburbs (within the region for Uringa Orienteers on the Orienteering NSW Sydney region map).

Everyone in attendance at the event (including spectators and group members) needs to register as part of our COVIDsafe compliance.
