Join us for an exciting pre-store opening adventure in IKEA. With the help of a map, plot and run a path to success by finding the checkpoints in a maze of furniture and aisles. There are courses for all ages and fantastic IKEA prizes on offer. Fun for all the family.
This is an exclusive opportunity for IKEA Family members to navigate IKEA Marsden Park before opening.
Use a specially prepared store map for the event. Checkpoints might be behind a lounge or in a bath! Take the shortcut or play it safe and go the long way?

Entry: | Click on the registration button to enter. Pre-registration is essential. There are strict entry limits on each course and no entry is available on the event day. Entry is only open to IKEA Family members. |
Entry closure: | Entries close when courses are full or at midnight on 6 October. |
Entry Cost: | $30/$20/$15 with families of 4 or more receiving a discount at the checkout. |
Breakfast: | Up until 30 September, a post-event breakfast can also be ordered with your registration. Cost: $11 |
Course Options
Course | Description | Cost |
Utmana | For those after the full IKEA maze experience. Great for adults and teens after a challenge, minimum age 10 years. | $30 |
Nöje | Not quite as challenging but still plenty of fun. Minimum age 8 years. | $20 |
Barn | Especially for the under 12s. Minimum age 8 years. | $15 |
A family maximum rate will be applied at the checkout. Families pay for one dependent child with up to 3 additional children free if entering and paying in one transaction.
Participation limits apply on each course. Course entry will close when the maximums have been reached.
All courses are for individual participation only.
On the event morning, there will be individuals starting at 1-minute intervals on each course.
Electronic SPORTIdent timing will be used.
If you already own a personal SPORTident timing stick, please plan to use it and share the stick number when entering. Hire of a timing stick or card is included for anyone who requires one.

Breakfast
The event will finish in the famous IKEA restaurant.
Stay on for breakfast from 9:30am with great value $11 pre-ordered hot breakfast options available. Breakfast orders can be placed when entering the event. There are two options:
- IKEA Breakfast – Scrambled eggs, mushrooms, 2 x hashbrowns, 2 x sausages, bacon, bread roll and a hot or cold drink
- IKEA Vegetarian Breakfast – Scrambled eggs, mushrooms, 2 x hashbrowns, 2 x vegetarian sausages, tomato, bread roll and a hot or cold drink
