Our popular 3D series resumes on 4 February for 5 weeks leading up to the Sydney Sprint Weekend. Term 1 events will be set across multiple levels challenging participants to think both horizontally and vertically whilst on the move.
There will be four courses of different distances and difficulty available making the events suitable for novices as well as experienced orienteers.
Event 1 on 4 February is at Normanhurst Boys High School. We love this school: 3 layers across three different school blocks and extensive grounds to stretch both the body and brain.
Access is from Fraser Rd, Normanhurst. Look for SOS signs and banners, once inside the school grounds.
Complimentary help for beginners is available – just ask at the registration desk.
Start Window: 9:30am to 11am (start any time within this window)
Courses: Warm Up (recommended starting course for beginners), Short Line, Long Line, and Score.
SPORTident timing is used for all courses. If you do not own a SPORTident card, please hire one. Timing cards, compasses and other equipment can also be purchased at events.
