With Spring in the air, join us for an adventurous morning exploring Willoughby parklands. Beginners are very welcome at this special Emerge Festival event hosted by Garingal Orienteers and Bold Horizons.
PRE-ENTRY PREFERRED – PLEASE ENTER BY 12PM THURSDAY 17 SEPTEMBER 2020.
Event Date: Saturday 19 September 2020
Start window: 9:00am to 12pm
Meeting point: The rear of Willoughby Leisure Centre, Small St, Willoughby
Courses: For this event we will have the usual Saturday Orienteering Series courses (Warm Up – 1km, Short Line – 3km, Long Line – 5km and Score) plus an Extra Long Emerge Special (approximately 8km).
Course Closure: 1pm
Entry Limitations: Due to NSW Government Guidelines on the regionalisation of sport, entries for this event will be limited.
9:00am-12pm: Residents of Sydney’s northern suburbs and northern beaches areas are welcome across the morning.
10:45am to 11:15am – Sydney’s Hills and western region (within the region for the Western and Hills Orienteers on the Orienteering NSW Sydney region map).
11:30am to 12:00pm – Sydney’s southern suburbs (within the region for Uringa Orienteers on the Orienteering NSW Sydney region map).
Enter and pay below. Orienteering club members can also enter via Eventor (until 12pm 17 September).
Everyone in attendance at the event (including spectators and group members) needs to register as part of our COVIDsafe compliance.
