SUMMARY:SOS Newcastle 3 - Hunter School of Performing Arts (World Maze Race
 )
DESCRIPTION:SOS is back in Newcastle for one term only in 2022.  Events ru
 n from 14 May to 25 June\, 2022. There are courses to suit all ages and ex
 perience levels with an individual race plus a complimentary relay each we
 ek\, so grab some mates and come on an adventure with us.\nIt’s World Ma
 ze Race week!  Come and race the maze and maybe be a World Champion!  We
  will have the same maze as other Bold Horizons events on this day and oth
 er participating venues from across the world.  Our normal SOS courses wi
 ll also be on offer.  Register for any SOS course and participation in th
 e World Maze Race is included.\nPre-entry by 12pm on the Thursday before e
 ach event is strongly preferred please.\n\n\n\nThe Newcastle Orienteering 
 Club helps us out with this Series.  As well as the Bold Horizons team\, 
 club members will be on hand to answer questions and assist anyone new to 
 orienteering.\n\nEvent Date: Saturday 28 May 2022\n\nVenue: Hunter School 
 of the Performing Arts (109 Lambton Rd\, Broadmeadow NSW).  ACCESS TO THE
  EVENT will be through Gate 5 on Cameron St. Parking will be available wit
 hin school grounds.\n\nStart Window: 9:30am to 11am (you can start any tim
 e within this time window)\n\nCourses: Warm Up\, Short Line\, Long Line\, 
 and Score.  If it's your first time\, we recommend starting out with the 
 Warm Up and you will quickly get the idea of what to do. After that\, if y
 ou want more\, the event team will help you register on a second course fo
 r the morning (there's no charge for the second course).  There's more in
 formation on courses available on the Saturday Orienteering Series page. 
  Each week\, there will also be a relay starting around 11am.  Two or thr
 ee people per team are recommended.\n\nGroups: Families and friends are ve
 ry welcome to complete a course as a group.  If participating as a group\
 , kindly enter at least one member of the group for a paid or host school 
 student ticket.  Each of these entries entitles that person to a course m
 ap\, timing chip and recorded result.  Accompanying family members and fr
 iends who do not need a map\, timing chip or recorded result should kindly
